The Masasa Mini Hydro Power Plant will be developed along the Nankhokwe River, situated near Masasa in Golomoti.
Nankhokwe River presents an opportunity for the construction of a multi-purpose dam to cater for Hydro power generation, irrigation, and portable water supply. The project aims to harness the river’s potential for hydropower generation, water supply, and agricultural development.
The project will be done in collaboration with LUANAR. A memorandum of Understanding has already been signed between EGENCO and LUANAR.
